Friday 25th April 7pm - 9pm

Marston Moretaine Community Centre

Never been to a sound bath before? Here’s what to expect:
Sound baths are a type of meditation where participants lie down and listen to a variety of instruments that produce resonant sounds, creating a wonderfully relaxing experience.

Sound bathing is being deeply immersed in different sounds and vibrations. Sound baths are very powerful, they have the power to cleanse and heal. The "bath" of sound is intended to be felt as well as heard. You can experience deep rest and relaxation at a sound bath, they can help reduce stress and anxiety, decrease blood pressure and balance the nervous system, and can help you feel relaxed and find inner peace.

How they work: The resonant sounds are thought to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for regulating heart rate and breathing, potentially leading to a deeper state of relaxation.

Experience: Participants typically lie down on mats or cushions, often with blankets or pillows for comfort, and are guided by the sound therapist through the experience.

**This experience is not advised for those who are in the first trimester of pregnancy or have sound induced epilepsy.**
